Whittier, California, November 14, 2022 – Friendly Hills Bank, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Friendly Hills Bancorp (OTC Pink: FHLB), announced today that it is aligning its brand to better serve its expanded footprint and greater lending capacity, and officially changing its name to First Pacific Bank. The new name, along with a new logo and website, will take effect later this year.

Friendly Hills Bank was named after the community of Friendly Hills and was founded in Whittier and later expanded to Santa Fe Springs. Over the last year, the Bank has grown its footprint and client base expanding beyond Los Angeles County to include Orange County, the Inland Empire, and most recently, San Diego County. 

To support the company’s ongoing growth, it was important that the Bank’s name represent its present-day and future mission, vision, and market position. The name First Pacific Bank reinforces our dedication to supporting the banking needs of Southern California’s vibrant business community. It also speaks to our new mission and vision and provides a strong identity for future growth and advancement.

Q.  Will the Bank’s ownership or management change?
While the Bank’s name will change, ownership, management, and operations will not.

Q.  When will the name change occur?
The new name, along with a new logo and website, will take effect later this year.

All phone numbers will remain the same.

The domain name for our email addresses will change from @friendlyhillsbank.com to @firstpacbank.com. For example, the new email address for general inquiries will change from fhbcontactus@friendlyhillsbank.com to fhbcontactus@firstpacbank.com. Our team members will continue to receive emails sent to @friendlyhillsbank.com.

Q.  Will the Bank’s website change?
Yes, the website will change from www.friendlyhillsbank.com to www.firstpacbank.com. We encourage you to bookmark this new url. There will be no changes to online banking.

Q.  Will customer account numbers change?
Customer account numbers will not change.

Q.  Will the Bank's routing number change?
The Bank's routing number will not change and will continue to be 122244249.

Q.  Will customers receive new debit and credit cards?
Yes, all debit cards and credit card holders will receive a new card in early 2023. You may continue to use your existing card(s) for the time being.

Q.  Will customers receive new checks with the name First Pacific Bank?
Once you place a request to reorder checks, you will be issued new checks that reflect the new name. We will continue to accept Friendly Hills Bank checks indefinitely.
